Since i am only 14, i'm wondering if the subscriber name would be mine, or my parent/legal guardian's (who purchased it for me). Also, an insurance form i have to fill out requires me to write down the Subscriber/ID Number, but i was only given a policy number. Is the Subscriber/ID number the same as the Policy/group Number? Hi guys, well let me start with what happened first. I am a college student and so I live in an apartment and park my car next to a whole bunch of other cars. I parked my car in a completely empty spot with no cars at all, and I saw that it was completely fine. I didn't go out on Sunday, but the next day on Monday when I was about to leave for school I saw a big scratch/gash on the left side of my bumper about 25 inches x 20 inches. I do not know who and when it happened, so I called the police and tried to claim a police report but the police said he couldn't do anything because if I knew who hit it, he would be able to do something. But since I don't know who hit my car, he couldn't give me one. I also called my insurance company (State Farm) and told her what happened and the size and she told me that my deductable is $500 and they'll send out a representative to check out the damage. I didn't give her the green light yet but what should I do? The scratch is bad because I have a black car and you could see white scratches from far away. I mean, if my damage is less than $500, I'm going to have to pay my insurance too right? Will this also increase my insurance too? I'm already broke as is because of school and I don't want to have to pay more for something I didn't do.

My university requires over $1800 for health insurance (the plan that provides enough coverage for athletes) and I don't have that much money right now. Any one know of any cheap alternatives? I've looked at some healthcare plans but they seem to cost much more than 1800 dollars and that's for only around 7-8 months of coverage. Thanks!
